Literature comes from a
Latin word “litera” which
means letters.

>> It is a total preserved
writings belonging to a given
language or people. It is a
body of literary production,
either ORAL, WRITTEN or
VISUAL containing
imaginative language that
realistically portrays
thoughts, emotions and
experiences of the human
condition.

meaning “straightforward.”
