RESOURCE

• We performed a survey on 30 people with self-efficacy and

positive attitude questionnaires.
• The people who took the survey had a mean age of 23.5 and
59.4% was male whereas 40.6% was female.
• The Minimum age was 20 and the maximum age 31.
• We have also analyzed them on the basis of economic
background where 56.3% of people “prefer not to say”, 9.4%
were above 4.5 lakhs per annum, 6.2% were above 15 lakhs
per annum and 28.1% of 8 lakhs per annum so we can say
most of them were reluctant to talk about their economical
position.
SELF EFFICACY
THE SELF-EFFICACY MEANS INDIVIDUAL’S BELIEF IN HIS OR HER
CAPACITY, REFLECTION OF THE CONFIDENCE IN THE ABILITY TO DEAL
WITH HIS OR HER OWN MOTIVATION, BEHAVIOUR. IT IS THE OPTIMISTIC
SELF-BELIEF IN OUR CAPABILITY TO COMPLETE A TASK AND GIVE
FAVOURABLE RESULT USEFULLY.
RESULT OF SELF EFFICACY
• As we know internal reliability for general self-
efficacy scale = Cronbach’s alpha is between 0.76
and 0.90 and our Cronbach’s alpha lies in between
it, so this is in the range of “Good”.
• As we know general self-efficacy score is co-
related to emotion, optimism, work and
satisfaction. Negative co-efficient were found for
depression, stress, health complaints , burnout and
anxiety. We have analyzed GSE score for each of
30 people and the total score ranges between 20 to
36.
• Our results suggest most of them are optimistic and
having work satisfaction , Although few of them
with GSE score less than 25 need to work on
themselves to be more self-efficient.
INTERPRETATION OF SELF EFFICACY
 People are not sure every time, whether they can perform this task successfully or not. They have
some doubt on their capability, feel lack of motivation. It does not mean that they can not
perform task successfully but if someone has doubt on their capability, it will effect performance
of individuals.
 As we can see in result of self efficacy score of our study part, only few people scored above 30.
Most of them have doubt on their capability. They are not sure, whether they can handle any
random problem comes in their way.
 (GSE SCORE = 36) 36 being more self-efficient and 20 being least efficient but there is no
one with negative GSE so we can conclude that no one is suffering form depression within
our survey and our results suggest most of them are optimistic and having work
satisfaction.
POSITIVE ATTITUDE
HAVING A POSITIVE ATTITUDE MEANS BEING
OPTIMISTIC ABOUT SITUATIONS, INTERACTIONS, AND
YOURSELF. PEOPLE WITH POSITIVE ATTITUDES REMAIN
HOPEFUL AND SEE THE BEST EVEN IN DIFFICULT
SITUATIONS
RESULT OF POSITIVE ATTITUDE
 On the basis of Positive attitude questionnaire we have found out most of them chose D or E
as an option and very few chose C and one or two of them chose A or B , we have marked B
for choosing E as this represents a Excellent Attitude , he or she is the person who sees the
positive and the opportunity in nearly everything and he or she would be a great friend and
employee to have.
 Those who choose D also have a good attitude and make a real effort to be positive and
hopeful.
 Those who choose C know how to be positive but don’t always make the effort needed to
achieve the best results
 Those who choose A or B are in red zone as they lack confidence in their abilities to succeed
and they feel the word is against them and every time they try they just get knocked back.
 Therefore if the answer is A or B they need to work hard on their attitude and get
motivated.
INTERPRETATION OF POSITIVE
ATTITUDE
 People with positive attitude are optimistic in nature and interactive. They always try to
find solutions in any difficult situation. They remain hopeful and always try to find best
possible solutions for any problem. Having a positive attitude means, always see any
problem with a pessimistic approach, if any random problem comes in life, people with
positive attitude start thinking for the solutions instead of the difficulty level of the
situation.
 Employers rate a positive attitude as the number one skill they are looking for when they
recruit. Some people think it's something you're born with — so you either have it or you
don't. But all the research tells us this is not the case. We all know that we can feel
optimistic some of the time and less so at other times, and it's not always clear why.
CONCLUSION
ON THE BASIS OF OUR ANALYSIS WE FOUND OUT THAT PEOPLE WITH
HIGHER GSE SCORE TEND TO CHOOSE MOSTLY ES OR DS AS AN
OPTION SO IT CAN BE SAID THAT SELF EFFICIENT PEOPLE SHOW
POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS WORK AND LIFE.
