Interview: Our group conducted an interview to know what are
the things we need to do and consider for us to innovate Aero
Garden. At first they didn't have any idea on what Aero Garden
is, then after we explain it to them they are amazed by the
invention. Aero Garden consumes electricity because it uses
LED lights to function. Our interviewee suggested that we
should conserve electricity by using a solar power in this
invention. We find this idea useful due to the fact that it will not
consume electricity and at the same time we can save our
money. They also suggested that we should put a light that can
control and eliminate the pest that can be harmful in our indoor
plants. It can also be hassle free to the owner because they
didn't need to monitor their plants if it has any harmful insect
inside every minute.

Aero Garden has limited number of plants to
accomodate which include Cherry tomatoes, Chili
peppers, Green beans, Snow peas, Herbs, including
French, Italian, Japanese and international basil packs,
Arugula, Baby greens, Mesclun salad mix, Romaine
lettuce, Flower kits with themes such as English
garden, splash of color and scented blooms due to its
small size. That's why our interviewee also suggested
that we should innovate it by creating different sizes
and shapes depending on the plants they want. We also
make it adjustable at the LED light stand, for it to be
convinient and to easily adjust whenever our plants
grow taller.By doing this innovation, Aero Garden can
accomodate more plants just like shrubs, flowering
plants, climbers and many more in different sizes inside
our home.
REFRAME THE PROBLEM CAPTURE FINDINGS
Goals and wishes: What is your group trying to achieve? Our
group wanted to enhance the idea of Aero Garden by innovating
it in terms of putting solar power to conserve energy, adding
lights that can protect our plants from harmful insects or pest
and lastly we want to create different design which has various
of sizes and shapes that can accommodate more plants. We want
our Aero Garden to be neatly packed together so that our
consumer will enjoy planting even though they doesn't have
enough space or soil in their area. This smart invention can also
reduce stress due to the fact that it is very hassle free and we all
know that plants produce oxygen, remove toxins and purify the
air which can foster happy vibes inside our home.
Insights: New learnings about your partner's feelings and
motivations. What is something you see about your partner's
experience that s/he probably doesn't see? Base on the interview
that we conduct, we learned that our partners love plants which
is also very timely due to this pandemic. It is also very useful to
our partner due to the fact that they didn't have to go outside to
buy vegetables or herbs that they need because they can harvest
and freshly pick it inside their home. They will also have the
assurance about the safety and cleanliness of this vegetables,
spices etc that they put and eat in their plates.
