Import Well Logs Data

• How to Add Well Logs Data
1) File  Import file

Popup will appear: Choose related file with

specific format to be imported
Another popup will appear: Adjust the inputs
according to Well Logs data used

*Repeat for all log data

2)Window  New Well Section Window
Results:
*Can display log data in well section window

Toggle on specific log data to be viewed on

‘input’ for wells
• How to QC Well Logs Data
In a case where the log data are scattered as shown in an
example below, it need to be QC first

Select the data required for the project

Example for GR data in a specific well:
1)Right click at GR  spreadsheet  to see the data content of the log
Example: Note:
Above are comparison between GR1 and GR data, we can Data can be
see that there are missing data in GR, therefore GR1 data is combined simply
to be selected for this well. by ‘copy and
paste’
 2)To make your project more organized, generalized all logs for all wells with
the same name and global log specifically

Example:
Sonic log for this well is set to ‘DT’ as the name,
and symbol is ‘∆t’
Result :

Example :
For this well, only few data has been selected and their symbols and name is set
for organizing purposes
Delete unused data in Global Well Log and organize every symbol and name for every
type of log data.
