How to Save These Slides as a Template (.potx file) so
You Can Use It Easily for Future Projects
1. On the File tab, click Save As (or

Help With Colors
• Try to use the first three colors in our palette as much as possible
• You can use the next three colors (the “hot” versions of the first
three) to highlight important things
• If you need additional colors, you can also use the secondary
colors (and use the “hot” versions of those colors to call out
important data)
• To change a shape or text to a secondary color:

• Insert a shape
• Select the shape or text
• Select “Shape Fill” or change the font color and select “More Fill Colors”
• Type the RGB code in from the color you want
