What is a sound??

• Sound is a pleasant thing that we hear.


• Sound is of two types pleasant and unpleasant.
• Unpleasant sound is called as noise.
• Sound makes us feel relax and comfortable Noise makes us feel
irritating.
• Examples of sound is birds chirping, flowing river, music,Etc.
• Examples of noise is Horns of vehicle in traffic, Etc.
String instruments
String instruments are instruments with string. String instruments make
sound with vibrating strings, and the pitch is modified by the thickness, and
length of the string. String instruments can be played in many ways, and
come in many variations.Some example of it is a violin 🎻 it produces sound
when string is vibranting and guitar.
Wind and brass

The sound is created by a stream of air that flows through


or around the body of the instrument. In most cases the
air comes from the player's mouth. Brass instruments
include the trombone, trumpet, horns, and flute.
Percussion instruments

Percussion instruments make sound from


being struck. Often the instruments will
have a hollow body, which will amplify the
sound. However, some percussion
instruments make sounds in other ways. For
example, piano makes sound when a key is
pressed, a hammer Inside the piano struks
the strings, it vibrate to produce sound.
