What is Disability? Disability is when a person is
unable to do something with their body or mind. For example people who had to amputate their legs when they were born or when they have Down syndrome that affects cognitive thinking. Viewpoints People think that when someone has a disability they are not able to do something and in some cases it is like that but there most of the times we can see people overcoming their disabilities and doing amazing things. We can get two important examples one of them is Stephen Hawking a world wide known scientist. The other one are all the paralympic athletes competing in the paralympics. Facts and Figures Let's get the example of people with the down syndrome. They were born with an extra chromosome that affected their brain and body developed, making then delay their development and it is the syndrome that affects the most children with an impressive number of 1 in every 700. Why is it wrong to People are different in their own way and we cannot change that but Discriminate that’s not a reason to discriminate people for who they are and what they have it does not matter if they have a different skin colour than you or if they are disabled thats o reason to discriminate them.
