Physical features
The northeast of Brazil can be divided into to 4 different
types of geographic regions and they are the “Mata” , the
“Agreste”,the “Sertao” and the “meio norte”
Agreste - rugged relief, with emphasis on the region
called borborema landholding Structure formed with
small and medium properties with practice of
policultura(various agriculture crops) and extensive
livestock
Meio norte - the meio norte area is the transition
area between the
Amazon forest and the cerado thus there is a rainy
and equatorial climates throughout the year.The
agriculture is mainly oriented by the production of rice
sugarcane and cotton yet there is also the cultivation of
palmito and seeds to the production of special oils and
Sertao - the main climate is semiarid which is
characterized by the long dry periods. The agriculture at
the sertao is not their main source of money because of
its dry climate, yet the pecuaria (livestock)as the area
has not yet started the process of mecanisation the
pecuaria activity is fully manual and intensive labor
hours.
Mata - the vast majority of the mata area consists on
the tropical climate thus the sumer are rainy and the
winter are dry.(could not find nothing in respect of
agriculture in this area)
 The major economics activities in the northeast are

● Forest products
● Oil and gas mining
● manufacturing
● Construction
● etc...

Those are the main sources of money the the

economy and industries of the area.The northeast is
fortunate to have strong agriculture diversity and
ranging from dairy to commercial fishing, fruit,
vegetable, forest products, nursery and greenhouse
across the region. In addition to the economic activity
created by farm businesses.

Festa Junina: plaid print shirts, pants patched with colored

cloths and straw hat. Women wear colorful plaid dresses,
multi-layered skirts and ruffles ornamented with ribbons,
flowers and a straw hat. Women also often wear pigtails
and pigtails in their hair
 Brazil is one of the biggest agricultural manufacturers
The main agricultural and nordeste is one of the states in brazil that

products produces a big part of it. Out of all of the things that
they produce, the sugar cane i the most popular and
the most lucrative of the bunch. The cane can produce
various products, but the most popular ones are:
sugar, to generate fuel for the power plants, and
cachaca.
What does the majority In the northeast of brazil the most
common jobs come from engineering,
of people work on but there are many types of
engineering like: civil, mechanical, and
production engineering. These types
of jobs are popular because as the
economy of the states start to get
bigger, more infrastructure is needed.
Popular folkloric Welove folcloric celebrations here in
brazil and they are all pretty popular, but
celebrations. the Festa Junina is the most popular by
far. In the northeast the festa junina is
one of the most looked dates of the
whole year, because of the amount of
festivity that occurs in that period of
time. There are other celebrations such
as: bumba meu boi, festa do bonfim,
and festa do divino.
Songs they produce and listen in that region

In popular music from the northeast rhythms such as coco, xaxado,

agalopado hammer, samba de roda, baião, xote, forró, Axé and frevo
stand out, among other rhythms.One of the biggest festa juninas are
produced in the northeast of brazil.
Are there any special dishes from that region?

Fry crab. The Siri Fry originates in the state of Alagoas and is very
successful there.
