Who is Bill Gates?
• William Henry Gates III is an American business magnate, software
developer, investor, and philanthropist. But He is best known as the
co-founder of Microsoft Corporation.
Earlier Life
• He born October 28, 1955, Seattle, Washington, U.S.
• When he turned 13, his parent sent him Seattle, Lakeside school
where he first was introduced to computer.
• He wrote his first computer program.
• Bill and Allen wrote a computer program for track traffic pattern and
netted $20,000 for their efforts.
• He enrolled Harvard University for study law in 1973.
• Gates and Allen wrote a basic Software Program for Altair Company.
How he became world Richest person?
• Dropped out from University in 1975 to start a company called
Microsoft
• In 1977 , company was young consist of 25 employees.
• In 1980, IBM approach Microsoft company for an OS that compatible
with IBM hardware.
• In 1983, Microsoft was going global and 30% of the world ran on its
software.
• In 1985 , he launched Windows.
• In 1989, Microsoft introduced Microsoft Office, which bundled office
productivity applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel into one
system that was compatible with all Microsoft products. 
• In March 1986, Gates took Microsoft public with an initial public
offering (IPO) of $21 per share, making him an instant millionaire at
age 31
• In 1987, Gates became a billionaire when the stock hit $90.75 a share.
Since then, Gates has been at the top, or at least near the top, of
Forbes' annual list of the top 400 wealthiest people in America.
