Slinkachu Analysis

The creator of this photograph is called Slinkachu. He comes from
Devon, UK and was born in 1979. He is street artist and started a
project in 2006 called ‘the little people project’. This project is all
about recreating every day life with mini figures.
The Photograph I am analysing shows a rearing horse with a rider.
The main focus is on the horse figure. I really like the depth of the
picture and the soft colours. I think in this picture slinkachu could
have used a rule of three.
The main techniques Slinkachu is using to create this photograph
are aperture and focus. With aperture he controls the depth of field
and puts focus on the mini figure. I think he used a medium shutter
speed to create a sharp image.
We will also do a create pictures like this so I will try and use a
similar aperture effect to focus on my mini figure.
