course requires energy. Human obtains energy by eating foods
that are digested through the digestive system, wich is composed
from the oral cavity, esophagus, stomach and intestines.

• To store and process food.

The foods you consume store the various nutrients needed


by the body’s cells. But before, the food must be digested into
substance small enough so that it can be absorbed by the body.
