WORKIN

G TITLE
LECTURE 2
GUIDELINES
• Your title is called the “Working Title” since it may be
changed or re-word or paraphrased when deemed
necessary.
• You will not be allowed to change your title at the
middle of the semester (except those with valid
reason/s).
• Your title should be concise but it should incorporate all
the necessary variables of your study.
WHAT TO DO NEXT?
 Start collecting research studies related to your
approved title/working title. As much as possible,
these studies must be published in recognized
international journals. As a general rule, those
published in the last 10 years will be considered.
 Look for possible survey questionnaires or any data
gathering tool in relation to your approved
title/working title.
WHAT TO DO NEXT?
 Start thinking about how you are going to gather your
data and how you are going to contact/communicate
with your target participants.
 Create a plan on how you are going to maintain your
files/output. File names should be organized and old
files must be kept. Do not edit existing file. You must
create a copy and apply the necessary corrections on
the second copy.
WHAT TO DO NEXT?
 Start saving a copy of your output on your email
and/or flash drive.
 Talk about how you are going to distribute your tasks
(among the group members). Additionally, you should
review all your output together before submitting it.
You must also improve your output together (before
the submission). Always go back to the lecture/s
provided.
WHAT TO DO NEXT?

Expect a lot of RESEARCH

DAYS in the next few weeks 
