He served 20 years in judicial service. Saved many
British officers even at the risk of his own life.
Ali Garh Movement

Sir Syed awakened the Muslims to animate their


dormant spirit in order to put up a struggle for the
revival of their past position.
British had held the Muslims responsible for the war

Muslims renaissance are known as Aligarh
movement.

position of eminence and glory.
It revived confidence among the Muslims to fight for
their economic and social rights.

impact on the social-economic-political and religious
aspects of the Muslims.
