Why should we use Betel
leaf?
1. Betel leaf contains essential oils, which
consist of 82.8% phenolic compounds
and only 18.2% are non-phenolic
compounds (Koesmiati, 1996).
2. Several previous studies have proven
that betel leaf has the ability to control
fungal diseases.
3. Betel leaf extract is able to kill the
fungus Colleotricum capsici better when
compared to extracts of castor seeds,
orange peel, leaves and seeds of neem,
laos and brotowali (Nurhayati, 2007).

The steps for making it are:

Preparation, before starting the manufacture of
insecticides need to be prepared tools, materials

a. Weighing all ingredients

b. Puree all ingredients with a blender
c. Mix all ingredients
d. Filter extraction
e. Fermentation of filter results (in barrels) for
14 days
How to apply the formulation:
Mix 5-10 ml of formulation into 1 liter of
water

Stir until mixed

Pour into the spray tank and formulation

is ready to use
