Literacy- is a capacity to communicate using inscribed, printed, or
electronic signs or symbols for representing language. Media Information Literacy It is linked to access to information, free expression and education. Media Information Literacy (MIL) refers to as the ability to access, analyze and create media. Also to identify the different types of media and understand the message they are sending. Equipping citizens with competency and skills to engage effectively and responsibly with media and information systems. It is a prerequisite for citizens to realize their rights to freedom of information and expression.
