 A graduation is a symbol of hope and a celebration of the hard work and
achievements of every student and parent. ​​
In partnership with Microsoft Philippines, an online graduation can be made
possible for students. #Hello2020Graduates is an “online graduation in-a-box”
program that schools can deploy anytime, anywhere. It is an opportunity to preserve
traditions and celebrate milestones in the life of every student, parent and
educator despite the global pandemic. With technology, online recognition rites is
achievable by using a secure and compliant platform such as Microsoft Teams.  ​​
#Hello2020Graduates comes with a technical guide and material to support a
smooth execution of a virtual graduation.. Microsoft Teams is the hub for team
collaboration in Office 365 that integrates the people, content, and tools needed to
be more engaged and effective. With the support of Microsoft Teams, the Dept of
Education can continue to honor our students, parents, and educators without
compromising public health and safety.  ​

*Microsoft Teams is part of DepEd’s O365 country license subscription.​

1. You need a host and a moderator/s to run the graduation.
• Host – Will host the live event and introduce key people in the program and direct the flow.
• Moderator/s – 2-3 people behind the scenes who will operate the PPT deck, message teachers, students and
other personnel to coordinate. They will also be the support if one person suddenly is having technical
problems.

2. Please read the Notes section of each slides. Some of them may guide you further.

3. We have set time limit guidelines in pre-recorded presentations to ensure quality of the
program.

4. Please set your own HOUSE RULES in conducting the event. Encourage the participants to:
• Be in a place with stable internet connection
• Be in a quiet place
• Turn off the microphone when not is use

5. Practice! This online graduation is convenient, but it needs practice too like the traditional
graduation.

6. Record the presentation. Ask the participants if they agree being recorded first. If yes, record
the presentation so others who cannot attend may watch it in a later time.
