STEM CHALLENGE TIME
Looking back over time, Leprechauns are mystical creatures who have managed to elude capture?

First, we are going to look at the different leprechaun trap designs in the book and determine why they failed to
catch our very sneaky little leprechaun.
Second, each group will pick a trap to redesign and implement so we can finally catch one of those elusive little
green creatures.

You will be required to compare and contrast the two design. You will write a brief description of what was wrong
with the original trap and why you think it failed. You will write another summary describing your new design. Tell
me how it was improved and why you think it will work better than the failed trap.

Also, this is a group project. Students may not always agree with the decisions of others, but choices will be made
by the majority rule. Each group member will be provided a Google Doc. Each day you will write a brief reflection
of the groups work and activities. Any disagreements should be listed within this doc. Points will be deducted from
the overall score for non-participation. I will address issues as needed daily after reading reflections. I am excited
to see where our Leprechaun adventures take us.
