The Church part 11

The Prophetic Past, Present and Future

Plan on Winning Every Race…………………………….

Some things have got

to go!
• Faith and Obedience are the two keys of
operating in the Spirit.
• This power is visible, remember that, it is not a
colloquialism based on Bible language.
• Today we are going to look more closely at this
term that we call “power”.
• Source
• Flow
• Result
• Power has become a connotation word in our
generation. It is often used to gain an
emotional response from the hearer. I believe
it is important, especially in our generation
not only to understand this phenomena but
also embrace the effectual work of this divine
enablement.
• When we say, “ I want to see the power of
God”, what are we asking for. Some believe
that it is a request for the “mystical”, or the
strange. Some use it as the “sword of the
Lord”. Others use it for affirmation of who
they are, they don’t know who they are so we
become exhibitionist for that affirmation. To
be spiritual in Pentecostalism is a big deal.
• Power in fact is a result of the finished work of
Jesus Christ, the end of this power is
“salvation”, whether you speak of deliverance,
healing, ( this is why when you pray for the sick,
if they are healed, their sins are also forgiven).
• We long for this power, however we must keep
the gospel in our mind, you can’t operate this
power as a separate entity from being “born
again”.
• Many have relegated the “power of God” to the
spiritual gifts defined in 1 Corinthians 12, we
have taken these gifts that Paul brings and tried
to possess them instead of understanding that
they belong to the Source of All Power.
• These gifts are given as a way to communicate
the supernatural to the natural. It is the part of
our lives that separate us from the natural world.
• These gifts are a part of the supernatural
world, you must begin to think with the mind
of Christ if you are going to operate as His
body. These gifts are given to the Body of
Christ which encompass all of you, for we all
are baptized into this body by virtue of the
Holy Spirit.
• The moving of these gifts is not an acid test for
spirituality nor spiritual maturity.
• Deliverance, healing, discernment, wisdom
are not separate entities. The end of these
things in our every day lives is the salvation of
a man or woman. The power of God inside the
church is for edification, exhortation or
comfort, however these three are defined in
helping a person or persons to plan on
winning every race.
• What has Happened to this Generation
• Remember Isaiah 5
• Remember Nehemiah 13
• Galations 1:6-8

•  6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the
grace of Christ unto another gospel:
•  7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would
pervert the gospel of Christ.
•  8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto
you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
• If there is a disconnect from the source, there
can’t be any results.
• This is the basis of our “thought for the week”
two weeks ago, Some things have got to go!
• The validity of the power of God mandates that
we have indeed become the “treasure in
earthen vessels”.. So that the power of God can
impact our generation through the church.
• If the church becomes disconnected and still
try and maintain their calling, only heartache
and discouragement lay at the end.
• This disconnect is represented by the things
that this world, church life, frustration has
brought into the church. These are the things
that have corrupted the gospel and
consequently the fruit of the gospel. These
things are going to have to go!
Isaiah 46:9,10

Remember the former things of old: for I am God,

and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like
me,
•  10Declaring the end from the beginning, and from
ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying,
My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
• Genesis 3:
•  7And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people
which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their
taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;
•  8And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the
Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land
and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the
place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and
the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.
•  9Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel is come
unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the
Egyptians oppress them.
• In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto
my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and
my cry came before him, even into his ears.
• The power of God is here and available today,
however it must come from the “Source”, we are
laying hands on people, praying for them, trying to
move God for them, but I declare unto you that they
must “cry out” in order for God to send His
deliverance…..
• The Church is in the battle of the ages…
• Let my People Go!
This is resounding in my ears as I
recall to mind what God has for us
and what our calling means to Him
personally.
• We are fighting on two fronts
• Is God a Watchmaker God?
• Jannes and Jambres of our Generation
• You write it down, there is coming a
confrontation inside the church. A
confrontation when this false spiritual
authority is going to be confronted, and you as
the Church are going to rise up.
• You can’t be linked to this system, and see the
true power of God, Let people Go,….
