Why are the prime numbers starting from 2?

What about (0) & (1)?

Are there any other even numbers in the set of

primes other than (2)?
Dividing by 2
The unit digit MUST be even, e.g.: 54278

Dividing by 3
The sum of digits MUST be divisible by 3, e.g.: 35262
3+5+2+6+2 = 18
Dividing by 5
The unit digit MUST be (0) or (5), e.g. 245 or 370

Determine which of the following is divisible by 2, 3 or 5?

5736 4635 2831
Without using calculator, find the result of:
(a.) 3 + 5 x 2 – 6
(b.) 2 + (10 – 3) – 3 2 x 2

(a.) 3 + 5 x 2 – 6 = 3 + 10 – 6 = 13 – 6 = 7
(b.) 12 + (10 – 3) – 3 2 x 2 = 12 + 7 – 3 2 x 2

= 12 + 7 – 9 x 2
= 12 + 7 – 18 = 12 + 7 – 18

= 19 – 18 = 1

Without using calculator, evaluate: 20 – 2 3 x 2 + (4 – 3)

20 – 2 3 x 2 + (4 – 3) = 20 – 2 3 x 2 + 1

= 20 – 8 x 2 + 1 = 20 – 16 + 1 = 20 – 16 + 1

= 4+ 1 = 5
