Terms of Reference
In accordance with the instructions of the Board, I am pleased to
submit a report on the possibility of acquiring a site for a new
office on the Andheri Business Park and make recommendations
as appropriate.

Procedure
This report was compiled following a visit to the Andheri
Business Park and interviews with the Park Manager, local firms
and the local office of the Department for Education and Skills.

Conclusions
The site has:
• Good access to roads and motorways
• Adequate facilities
• Competitive rate charges
• Local supply of skilled and semi-skilled staff
• Ready availability of building contractors
• No planning problems
Despite the accommodation problem, the site appears to suit the company’s requirements in all other
respects.

Recommendations
That the company accept the site and proceed with the building of the offices
without delay.

Example of a paragraph with in-text citation
A few researchers in the linguistics field have developed training programs designed to improve
native speakers' ability to understand accented speech (Derwing, Rossiter, & Munro, 2002;
Thomas, 2004). Their training techniques are based on the research described above indicating
that comprehension improves with exposure to non-native speech. Derwing et al. (2002)
conducted their training with students preparing to be social workers, but note that other
professionals who work with non-native speakers could benefit from a similar program.
