 Coming from a small background, Shradha Sharma was always good in study. She
completed her Bachelor degree and Masters in History subject from St. Stephen’s College,
Delhi. And further completed a year program in Design Management from MICA.
Career

 She was born in 1983 in Patna and studied History at St. Stephen’s College, and
later Design Management at MICA, completing her education in 2004. She was
also briefly Assistant Vice President of CNBC for roughly two years, and Brand
Ambassador for the Times of India. These are both experiences which she openly
admits to having shaped her future as founder and chief editor of her website.
 Sharma eventually founded YourStory in 2008. She did so on the premise that
India has thousands of stories of entrepreneurial success that have gone untold,
and that she wanted all these stories to have a platform of their own.
 Over the years, her website has encapsulated the lives of over 40,000
entrepreneurs. Her stories contained the likes of major companies including Intel,
Google, Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, VMware, Nokia, Dell, Qualcomm, Cisco,
VeriSign and Vodafone

 Her company has been described as “India’s biggest and definitive platform for
start-ups and entrepreneurs-related stories, news, resources and research reports.”
It has also received investments from prominent figures such as Ratan Tata.

 Not only is Shradha Sharma a great source of inspiration for entrepreneurs across
