Selecting a Fare from a Price Response


The entry code FXT is used to select a fare from the list of
applicable fares and create a TST, as follows:

FXT1
This example will create a TST based on the YBB fare basis in line 1
of the price response.

Selecting a Fare without creating a TST


The transaction code FQQ is used to select a fare from a price
response without creating a TST, as follows: FQQ2
This example will display a ticket image based on the fare in line 2.
A TST, however, will not be created.
Pricing an Itinerary without Creating a TST
The following entry may be used to price an itinerary without
creating a TST: FXX When this entry is input, a ticket image
will be displayed, but a TST will not be attached to the PNR.

Best Buy
The "Best Buy" entry can be used to display the lowest fare
regardless of the class in which each segment is booked. This
entry is input as follows: FXA When this entry is input,
Amadeus prices the itinerary using the lowest applicable fare
for each segment. However, the system does not rebook the
itinerary.
A specific airline may be included as follows: FQPBRU/ASNMIL/D19MAY/AAZBRU

The option code /A is typed before the carrier code. This entry indicates the
passenger will travel from BRU on SN to Milan, and return on 19 May on AZ to BRU.
