• Name of the game: Just to say HELLO


• Aim: to raise participants’ awareness of how to say greetings to
make themselves friendly to people in the world.
• Time: 5 minutes
• Number of participants: the entire class
• Participants’ level of proficiency: Participants have the basic
knowledge of cross-culture, knowing how much important the
adaptation to a foreign country is.
• Instructions:
 Each member (or 2 to 3 members) of the group demonstrates one
action of saying greetings of one country and requires the
participants to make guesses. Each correct guess deserves one
gift.
 The game continues to the end of the last action.

• Name of the game: Just to say: I LOVE YOU


• Aims:
- To introduce the wedding custom in some countries.
- To help learners be aware of wedding customs of different countries.
• Time: 20 minutes
• Number of participants: at least 8 people in 2 teams.
• Participants’ level of proficiency: Advanced
• Instructions:
- The game has 8 lines across in a pattern of numbered spaces. The words are found by
solving clues. The puzzle is the yellow line down.
- 2 teams draw lots to decide which team play first. If the team in their turn have the correct
answer for each across, they get 1 but they can’t their turn move to the other team. Before
all across are found which team find the down get 4 points but if they are incorrect, they
have to stop the game. At the end, which team has more points is the winner.

- A pen/ pencil
