■ Abstract. The incidence of malnutrition can increase the risk of morbidity
and mortality of children. The purpose of this study was to determine the
factors associated with the nutritional status of children under-five years. The
research method used is quantitative with cross sectional design. In this study,
using the method of Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling, the quantity
of respondents was 107. The instrument used were a questionnaire and weight
scales. The analysis data involved using chi-square test and multiple logistic
regression. There was a significant association between environmental
sanitation (p-value = 0.01, OR=4,95), history of exclusive breastfeeding ( p-
value = 0.001, OR=5,84), and a history of infectious disease ( p-value = 0.03,
OR= 3,51). There is a need for screening children under five with nutritional
problems and improving health on community nutrition.
