PERFORMANCE ARTS
• Performing Arts may include dance,
music, opera, theatre and musical
theatre, magic, illusion, mime,
spoken word, puppetry, circus arts,
recitation, and public speaking.
• Theartists perform their work live to
an audience.
THEATER ARTS
• Isa collaborative form of
fine art that uses live
performers, typically actor or
actresses, to present the
experience of a real or
imagined event before a live
audience in a specific place,
often a stage.

• LANGUAGE- a body of words and the systems
for their use common to a people who are of the
same community or nation, the same
geographical
• DICTION- its original, primary meaning, refers
to the writer’s or the speaker’s distinctive
vocabulary choices and style of expression in a
poem or story.

ARENA OR CIRCLE
STAGE
•In theatre and performing arts,
the stage is a designated space
for the performances. In theatre
in the round, the audience is
located on all four sides of the
stage.
THRUST STAGE
•A stage that extends
into the auditorium so
that the audience is
seated around three
sides
CREATE AND FOUND
• A stage can also be improvised where
ever a suitable space can be found.
Examples may include staging a
performance in a non traditional space
such as a basement of a building, a side
of a hill or, in the case of a busking
troupe, the street.
