 RULES OF DISCUSSION
1) In the discussion class, the students should be made to sit in
a ‘U’ formation where the chairman should have his position
down the dais and in front of the class.

2) Being detailed by the teacher, the chairman, after occupying

his seat, should introduce the topic, divide it into 2 to 3
phases, allocate time for each phase and start discussing
phases one after another.

3) While doing so, he should see to it that no participant can

over dominate, neither can anyone remain totally silent and
above all, no one can talk to each other but through the
chairman.
 RULES OF DISCUSSION
4) The chairman should be tactful, be able to
maintain discipline through out the
deliberation.
5) The chairman will sum up and give a
conclusion at the end thanking all
participants for their positive contribution in
the discussion.
6)The Chairman will write all notes and
observations, such as the general tone of the
group or outstanding themes that arouse in
