HUMAN HAPPINESS INDEX
 The Human Happiness Index is a comprehensive survey
instrument that assesses happiness , well-being and
aspects of sustainability and resilience.

 The Human Happiness Index measures life satisfaction,


the feeling of happiness, and other happiness domains:
psychological well-being, health, time balance,
community, social support, education, arts and culture,
environment, governance, material well-being, and
work.
 The Human Happiness Index is basically used to find the
happiest country in terms of the world or the happiest family
among the society.

 India is ranked 139 out of 149 countries in UN’s World


Happiness Report 2021.

THINKING SOCIAL EMOTIONAL


THINKING
 When you add more positive thoughts, your brain will create
relaxation and happiness. By training yourself to follow or
negate negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll improve
your positive/negative thought ratio and be happier.

 People with positive thinking are more satistfied in there


relationship than the people with negative thoughts in their
mind.

 In addition to happiness, positive thinking can impact your


health and wellness throughout your lifetime.
SOCIAL
 People with strong social ties are two or three times less likely to suffer
from major depression than people with few social bonds.

 According to the study , enjoying social activity with friends maybe


buffer against negative effect of aging.Study confirms that friendship
is better predictor of health and happiness than relationship we
maintain with our family.

 Be around happy people to be happy. It removes toxic people from


your life . People who are surrounded by many happy people and
those who are central in the network are more likely to become happy.
EMOTIONAL
 The term happiness is used in the context of mental of
emotional state , including positive or pleasant emotions
ranging from contentment to intense joy. It is also used in the
context of life satisfaction,subjective well-being ,
eudaimonia,flourishing and well-being.

 Happiness has been shown to predict positive outcomes in


many different areas in life. Positive emotions increases
satisfaction with life. Happiness help people build stronger
coping skills and emotional resources.

 Human Happiness Index: 158/400=3. 95
 We measured Happiness index by using parameters
like Housing, Income, Work, Education, Environment, Health
and Life Satisfaction.

 WE have taken on a scale of 5 units for measurement of the


all parameters.

 According to the survey family 7 has the highest happiness


index and family 4 has the lowest.
