Madame Tussauds is the most popular wax museum in the world.
People have been enjoying the
wax sculptures at Madame
Tussauds for generations.It is a
major tourist attraction in
London,United Kingdom and a
number of other large
cities around the world.Including 6
in the USA,Beijing and Sydney.
BACKSTORY                      
The idea of a wax museum came from Marie Tussauds.She was born during 1760s in
Strasbourg,France.She learned how to do wax modeling from her mothers employer.He was a
physician named Phillippe Curtis.Her first wax sculpture was of Voltaire.
Dr.Phillippe Curtis passed away during 1790s.He left Tussauds his large colection of wax
models. She spent the following 32 years traveling Europe and putting them on display.
Tussaud was married in 1795 to Francois Tussaud. Together they created the traveling show
known as Madame Tussaud's. Her collection was on permanent display for the first time on
Baker Street in London during 1836. One of the museum's most popular attractions at the time
was Madame Tussauds Chamber of Horrors.
WHAT İS İN THİS MUSEUM ?
Madame Tussauds London museum is all divided into several sections. Each single section is
organized in eye catching way. In the first section you will be finding the wax statue of
popular celebrities such as as Ariana Grande,Angelina Jolie,Scarlett Johansson,Leonardo
DiCaprio,Tom Cruise,Kim Kardashian,Dua Lipa,The British Royal Family and many
more directors, athletes, royalty, writers, scientists, painters, musicians, singers, politicians and
even serial killers.
HERE ARE SOME WAX FİGURES
New models are being produced all the time while the old ones are quietly removed
from display. Over the years hundreds of celebrities have made their way to
Madame Tussauds studio. Most people agree to be portrayed, but some refuse.
Mother Teresa was one of the few who declined, saying her work was important,
not her person.
