MEANING OF LOVE, TYPES AND WAYS

OF SHOWING IT.

Lets think about what we mean by the word love, in how many
different ways can we use it. In this lesson we are going to
learn about meaning of love, types and ways of showing it.
Meaning of love

• When we talk about love, we talk about a strong feeling of

affection that we have for someone or something.
• Having a great interest and pleasure in someone or
something.
• For example , my love for fallyball.
Ways of showing love

• People spend quality time with whom they love.

• Keep in touch when they are away.
• Help them when they are sick or in trouble.
• Be pleased when good things happen to them.
• Giving gifts and compliments.
Romantic love

• When two people fall in love,

is called romantic love, this is
a feeling of love for or a
strong attraction towards
another person. lovers hug
and kiss each other.

Conditional love

• Love with limits, expecting people to behave in certain ways

or do certain things, for example expecting gifts from friends
if they do not give or stop buying those gift people stop
loving them.

Brotherly and sisterly love

• The love people have for

their siblings and relatives.
This type of love is
developed by people who
are who are closed to each
other. For example church
members, workers and
players.

Friendship love

• This is the love people

feel for their close
acquaintances, it can last
for lifetime, or end as
people do change when
they grow. Friends look
out and help one
another.

Love is the most beautiful thing, if everyone treated others
with love, it would make the world a nicer place to live in.
