 PAMUYBUYEN - Is a legend which means “ fear of water”

 AMBAHAN - Is a traditional poetic expression of the Southern Mangyans of

Oriental Mindoro with a meter of seven syllables lines.

 It is a long bamboo tubes instrument with a very thin
surface.
The head of the suling has hole, which is circled with a thin
band made of rattan to produce air vibration.

It is a bamboo Jew’s harp. It as an idiophone

instrument also known as ”the speaking
instrument”.

It has a counterpart instrument from Mindanao, the

KUBING.

bamboo piece. It is also
called a kolitong in
Bontoc.
