Introduction

• Delhi the capital city of India is spread along the area of 1483 sq meter at the center of
India. The border are connected with different state and Aravali's on one side.
• Delhi is divided into 3 parts Yamuna ride , Yamuna flood plain, plain .
• Delhi density is rising by 2% annually

• Physical features
The city of Delhi lies in the fertile North plain of India . The main
features of Delhi ,The Delhi  covered forest called Ridges ,the main
source of drinking water is Yamuna . Total area of 11.5% of the total
area of Delhi . Delhi's mineral sources are primarily sand and stone
basically used for construction activity .
• Climate 
Delhi has Semi arid climate, with hot summer, average rainfall and
moderate winter with annual precipitation is about 711mm .
Population Density
• Delhi is most populated and fastest growing  city of the world ,  The
large part of rapid growth has been due to high level of migration .
• The family size in Urban area is 3.99 ,Rural area is 5 .
• According to Economic survey of Literacy rate for male 93%  , femal
85% .
• The Average density of population of Delhi is 12200 person per square
kilometer which is highest among the union territory .
• ( North west Delhi ,South Delhi, Central Delhi ,New Delhi,North West
Delhi , East ,North Delhi , Central ,West Delhi ) NCR which cover the
nearby area of different states .
