Adverbs of manner

 Folosim adverbe de comportament pentru a descrie cum este ceva făcut.

Walk slowly. Claire sings beautifully.
 Formăm adverbele de comportament adăugând ”-ly” la sfârșitul adjectivului.
Slow -> slowly nice -> nicely beautiful -> beautifully
 Dar există tipuri diferite de formare:
1. Dacă un adjectiv se termină în ”-y” ștergem ”-y” și adăugăm ”-ily” pentru a creea adverbul.
Easy -> easily angry -> angrily
2. Ține minte că dacă un adjectiv se termină în ”-l”, adăugăm în continuare ”-ly” pentru a face
adverbul.
Wonderful -> wonderfully (wonderfuly) beautiful -> beautifully (beautifuly)
 Unele adverbe de comportament se formează diferit.
Fast -> fast hard -> hard good -> well
Dax learns very fast. Marianne works hard. She sings well.
 Adverbele de comportament de obicei merg după verb într-o propoziție.
Please listen carefully.
 Dar dacă propoziția are un obiect, adverbele merg după obiect și nu după verb.
