• Every Christian Catholic can receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation

priest appointed by them.
• The Matter: The confession of sin. After the sins are confessed, the penitent
has said the Act of Contrition, and the priests give the absolution.
• The Form: I absolve you from sins in the name of the Father, and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit.

- Jesus instituted the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick when He said to
the apostles: “They will lay their hands on the sick who will recover” (Mark
16:18)

- The Church continues the mission of Jesus to heal from any sickness of the
spirit and of the body through the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.
