CLASS RULES

PRESENT SIMPLE,
1.-Present simple is used when talking about a regularly occurring
action, something that is general.
EXAMPLES: 
I walk to work on Mondays.
Some people put milk in their tea.

2.-In present simple, the verb changes only in third person singular
(he, she, it, a person, a thing), where it gets the suffix -s or -es.

EXAMPLES: 
I run -> Emily runs

A.-The -es suffix is used when the verb ends in the letters ss,


sh, ch, x, o, or z.
 
- EXAMPLES:
I miss…… : He misses her notebooks.
They fix….. : She fixes his bycicle
We catch….. -> Sam catches butterflies
I crash………: She crashes her car.
We go………: He goes at the university.

B.- . If the verb ends in a Consonant + Y, we replace the


consonant
- “Y” by “ I” and add “es”

EXAMPLE:
I carry……… : She carries her notebooks.
I hurry ……...... : He hurries to get early
We study ………: He studies architecture.
They deny ………. She denies to accept a difficult work

2.- Share the information to your group’s friend.
3.- With the given information the other partner make a
report in third person and in six lines.
4. Prepare your report in group to express next class.
You will have three minutes per group.

NOTE: NEXT WEEK WILL BE THE MIDDEL EXAM.
