Objectives:
This course aims to:
1. Develop an understanding of the construction
industry and various aspects of its economy.
2. Ensure that candidates are well-versed with
the macroeconomics and microeconomics of
the construction industry.
3. Introduce sustainable economics to the
candidates of the construction industry.
Course Outcomes:
Course Outcomes: upon completion of this course, a
student shall be able to:
1. Apply theory in analysing issues confronting the
construction industry.
2. Explain macroeconomics theory confronting the
construction industry.
3. Describe how typical construction projects can be
affected by the state of economy.
4. Relate sustainable economics to the construction
industry.
