01. INTRODUCTION
Line following robot is a type of robot
that can follow existing lines or
obstacles, maps so that the robot can
recognize and move to the original set
point. Although it is only a very small
application, this is the basis for
developing larger and more advanced
projects.

PRINCIPLES
a. Line detector sensor

Line detector sensor is known as infrared ray that points down the moving surface. They help detect surfaces
that reflect or absorb light at close distances. They usually have infrared eyes that can absorb light and emit
light.

If the surface reflects light, signal will be received by the absorbed light eye → we can receive the signal and
determine the bright area

If the surface does not reflect light, there is no signal to the absorbed light eye → we can’t receive the signal and
determine the dark area
