Introduction

• System will be able to signal traffic-related events in the worst case at

the same time of the result display by the console on the web sites.
• Further, we are investigating in feature scope the integration of our
system into a more complex traffic detection infrastructure.
• This infrastructure may include both advanced physical sensors and
social sensors such as streams of road network.
• In particular, social sensors may provide a low-cost wide coverage of
the road network, especially in those areas (e.g., urban and suburban)
where traditional traffic sensors are missing.
LITERARURE SURVEY

5
Literature Survey

Literature review is the effective evaluation of selected
documents on a research topic.

A review may form an essential part of the research process
or may constitute a research project in itself.

It is a critical synthesis of previous research.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

10
Problem Statement

• Recently Social as well as Road networks have been employed as a

source of information for event detection, with specific reference to
road traffic activity like jamming, congestion and accidents.
• However, traffic panel detection and recognition still remains a
challenge
• in computer vision due to its different types and the huge variability of
the information depicted in them. So, to overcome the Traffic
congestion
• problem we implement the proposed system to address the real time
traffic detection and released signal as per vehicles arrived.

11
OBJECTIVES

12
Objective

The objective of this research is to identify and test through field

evaluation and analysis the available and viable detectors that have the
potential to replace video imaging vehicle detection systems at signalized
intersections. The objective will be accomplished through a literature
search and contacts with agencies to identify the appropriate
technologies, followed by designing and carrying out the field tests.
• To Design a real-time detection system for traffic analysis.
• To assign suitable class label to every frame, as related with an
activity of traffic event or not.
• To implement traffic signal released module as per vehicles density.
• To Design a real-time detection system for traffic analysis using
DCNN.

13
METHODOLOGY

14
CNN Algorithm

• A Convolutional Neural Network (ConvNet/CNN) is a Deep

Learning algorithm which can take in an input image, assign
importance (learnable weights and biases) to various aspects/objects in
the image and be able to differentiate one from the other. The pre-
processing required in a ConvNet is much lower as compared to other
classification algorithms. While in primitive methods filters are hand-
engineered, with enough training, ConvNets have the ability to learn
these filters/characteristics.

17
CONCLUSION

18
Conclusion

We can integrate our system with an application for analyzing the official
traffic signal, so as to capture traffic condition notifications in real-time.
Thus, our system will be able to signal traffic-related events in the worst
case at the same time of the result display by the console on the web sites.
Further, we are investigating in feature scope the integration of our
system into a more complex traffic detection infrastructure.
