Definition OF Homosexuality

 Homosexualityis romantic attraction, sexual behavior


between members of the same sex or gender.
Causes of Homosexuality

1. Molestation: This is when a person is sexually harassed by someone especially of the same gender.
2. Incest: a child being raped by their family member particularly of the same gender .
3. Homosexual Friends: Hanging out and interacting with gay groups.
Causes of homosexuality

1. Parental influence: A child that is raised by a homosexual couple can grow up


portraying homosexual behavior.
Children that play with toys of the opposite sex and dress up in clothing of the opposite
sex most times adapt homosexual behavior.

2. Cultural factors: This is based on the society that a person originated from where
homosexual lifestyle/practices is allowed meaning it is not illegal.

3. Poverty : A person because of living conditions can practice homosexual lifestyle as a


job. E.g. Prostitute or stripper
EFFECTS of homosexuality

EFFECTS HOMOSEXUALITY HAS ON :


An Individual
 They get alienated by friends and family.
 Mental health issues from being bullied.
 Poverty/homelessness caused by job discrimination .
Effects of Homosexuality

The Family
 Traditional/religious families could face embarrassment.
 Causes division between family members.
 Parents are less likely to have biological grandchildren.
Effects of homosexuality

 Society In General
 Homosexuals are allowed to get married because there is no law saying they
can’t marry the same sex.
 Frequently exposing themselves to biological hazards.
 The same sex partnership legislation increasing favorable attitudes across the
entire pollution, it only affects individuals who are generally supportive of
sexuality.
Ways to reduce homosexuality

1. Research (to get better understanding of the main cause of it).


2. Communication
3. Social discussion (to encourage discussion to offer an opportunity
to discuss their concerns)
4. Application of community rules and guides(How the society
should live)
