“PAGPANGANDAM”

PAGHAHANDA SA PAGSILANG NI KRISTO KASAMA SI MARIA SA GITNA NG

PANDEMYA
 Do we still have to prepare?
 How do we prepare for the birth
of our Lord in this difficult
time?
 Normally we prepare…

 So that there will be an orderly and

meaningful experience we will have at the
day of the event or celebration.
Magpapatuloy tayo! Sama
sama tayong maghanda!
Paano?
The preparation we have to do is not
more on physical or material, but more
on ourselves, with others, our family,
our community, most importantly with
the deepening with our relationship
with God through Mary.
 In True Devotion #1, Montfort says:

IT IS by the most Holy Virgin Mary that

Jesus has come into the world, and it is also
by her that He has to reign in the world.
 Fr. Mario Belotti, SMM:

“In order to refine the quality of our Christian intentionality, we

can recall what Montfort invites us, that is on our journey that
allow us to look at the deep of our hearts”
Mary presents us to Jesus,
she brings Jesus to our life
and to shape his image in
us.

In the Annunciation (Luke 1:26-38) , when the
angel Gabriel visited her and said, “Hail,
favored one! The Lord is with you.”

Mary, was greatly troubled at what was said and

pondered what sort of greeting this might be.
Like Mary, we also need to be in
touched, to be grounded, with our
emotions, with what has been
happening to us internally, and
manifested in our actions.
but in the light of all these, there must be
something more, wisdom behind all
these…

 We are called to trust, obey, surrender,

and commitedin our own lives.
Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ:

“God in solidarity with us.

We are saved by a God who
accompanies us, who journeys
with us.”
(Video Song: Emmanuel: Nasa Atin ang Diyos)
 We are saved by God’s accompaniment of
humanity, by God’s solidarity with us. We
are invited now to become channels of
God’s saving love, through our
accompaniment of, our solidarity with
those who are desperate, hungry, thirsting
for justice. We pray that we may all
become channels of God’s saving
incarnation.
 And the challenge us, are we
to contain all these to
ourselves? We are to share
these to our brothers and
sisters, especially those who
are most in need. We are
called to be bearer of God’s
love to everyone.

Mary’s profound receptivity
and generosity to the action
of the Holy Spirit in her life.
