Brain Blasts®
These gummies are the new best thing
since sliced blood!
Take one a day to feel the same joy you
had when you were alive.
Joke: Why did the brain go running?
Neurotransmitters
• Our goals for our zombie drug, Brain Blasts®, is to make each zombie
act as normal as possible, be happy, and non-aggressive.
• The first neurotransmitter we will use in our drug is Dopamine. This
function of the brain affects muscle movements and mood regulation.
The use of Dopamine in our drug will help combat the zombie's urge
to be aggressive and will cause the zombie to feel happy.
• The second neurotransmitter we will be using is Serotonin.
This function of the brain affects mood and sleep and the use of it in
Brain Blasts will improve the zombie's mood and not make them as
hostile.
Brain Features
• The two brain features we wanted to coat our drug with is the
Temporal Lobe and the Cerebellum. We choose the Temporal Lobe
because this feature is associated with language and learning and
would react well with the use of the neurotransmitter Serotonin. We
also choose the Cerebellum because this area is associated with
muscle movements and mood regulation with would respond well
with the drug Dopamine.
Behavior
• With most prescribed drugs, you need to take it on a schedule and
make sure you take it at the right time with the right dosage, or you
may notice a physical and/or emotional change. When the zombie
misses a dose, the lack of serotonin would cause depression, anxiety,
and sleep trouble and the lack of dopamine would cause the risk of
Parkinsons, Schizophrenia, and addiction (hopefully to our drug and
not brains.)
