BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Housing is the basic necessity of every human being along with food
and water. Everyone needs home i.e. shelter to have proper rest in
his own feasible way and feel comfortable an live a convenient life.
Home is the place where a house is poured with many relations of
people and it is the place where all of them in relation stay connected
throughout their life otherwise being scattered at different places.
Hence, home is the medium of being connected everyday of our lives
with our families where other families also can meet and spend some
memorable moment altogether.
Constructing an apartment can be one of the solutions to
individuals who lacks the fund to have an own house and
lot or to an individual who wants to be near to their
respective workplace. Also putting an apartment will have
a benefit to its municipality where it is built as it will serve
as a one of the primary source tax.
Calasiao is a 1st class municipality in the province of
Pangasinan, Philippines. It is located at the very heart of
Pangasinan, between San Carlos City and Dagupan City.
With its major road linking to both cities, Calasiao is also
linked to Sta. Barbara, where McArthur Highway
connects Baguio City and Metro Manila.
Calasiao is known for its puto, a soft rice cake; suman, a sweet
coconut and sticky rice cake wrapped in banana leaves; and
bagoong, or fermented fish paste. Calasiao puto is described as the
town's "white gold."[citation needed] Calasiao puto is a bite-size,
soft rice cake made from semi-glutinous rice that is fermented in
earthen jars. It is produced mainly in Barangay Dinalaoan. Many
pilgrims from neighbouring cities/towns and provinces visit Calasiao
to pray at the Senor Divino Tesoro shrine. The statue of a crucified
Jesus Christ is believed to grow in size and grant miracles.
