Introduction
Compaction piles are one of the potential methods for improving ground stability preventing liquefaction, reducing
settlement and similar applications. The soil is compacted by driving the piles into the soil. Hence the compaction is
achieved by simple displacement of the soil. For granular soil further vibration is done.

The amount compaction achieved depends on:

2. size
3. vibrational energy
