ADJECTIVES

The adjectives decribe NOUNS. We use ADJECTIVES before Nouns and after the verb BE.

Examples:

That’s a beautiful sweater / That sweater is beautiful.

This is an old tie / this tie is old.

That’s a blue jacket / That jacket is blue.

Adjectives are the same in singular and in plural.

I have a stylish shirt / I have stylish shirts.

She has a new skirt / she has new skirts.
