The legislative power
• The Parliament is the legislative power in
Republic of Moldova. They make laws for
the population. The Moldovan Parliament
has 101 members, elected for  a four-year
term by proportional  representation..It
being a unicameral structure. The president
of the Parliament of the Republic of
Moldova is elected by the Parliament with a
minimum of 52 votes.
The executive power
• The executive power in Republic of Moldova is
the government. In the first phase, the executives
draft most of the state legislation, which then
goes through the legislative process. Executives
may issue special types of laws, such as decrees
or executive decisions. The government is the
central executive body of state power, consisting
of the head of government, ministers and / or
secretaries of state.
The judicial power
• The judicial power of Republic of Moldova are
the judicial institutions and the constituion witch it
is the primary law in the country. The judiciary has
the power to change laws through the judicial
review process. Judicial review courts may overturn
state laws and regulations when they consider them
incompatible with a higher standard, such as
primary law, the provisions of the constitution or
international law. Judges are a critical force in
interpreting and implementing the constitution
