PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS
• Each slide is a milestone in the project
• Each slide has a given due date for you to complete so that you work on the project
throughout the quarter (rather than the last day of school . . .)
• You complete the first two parts of the project (Show Concept and Music) by
clicking on the link in the title that will take you to a Microsoft form
• The next two parts will be attached to Teams assignments later on around the due
date.
• Work at your own pace and feel free to email us with any questions!

• Thought behind that show was using tunes that would bring together multiple generations
Generation X, Generation Y, Generation Z
• Produce your own concept that means something to you and excites you!
• It is okay if you produce 2 or 3 show concepts because you must find music that fits the
concept

• Once you are there do some digging and listen to songs that you feel like go with your concept.
• Select 3 Tunes
• Opener (Loud and in your face)
• Middle (Slower and soft)

• Turn in on Teams
• One Page Paper about why you choose your concept and the songs
• What is the meaning behind the concept and explain how the show will look
on the field.
• What do you want people leaving with?

• April 13th – April 30th
• Turn in on Teams
• On a blank piece of paper, design the sets for your marching show.
• There need to be 40 marching band members accounted for
• It would be easiest to read if it was one set per side of paper but if you had to, you could
probably fit two
• Also make sure to explain how the band gets to each set. Do they march 8-5, is it a multi-
gait, is it a halt or a mark time. Think about how you would do it if you were on the field
PRESENT (31 POINTS)
• May 11th, 17th, 18th
• If you present May 11th, you will receive 10 extra credit points
• You will be presenting your show to the class individually on one of these days
