MOST FAMOUS MONUMENT
Introduction

• Taj Mahal is one of the most famous architectural wonders of the


world. It is also listed as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It
is no surprise that thousands of people from across the world come
attracted by the beauty of this monument, all year round. This
monument is located in the City of Agra on the bank of River
Yamuna in Uttar Pradesh, India. Taj Mahal is seen as one of the
prime examples of the excellence in Mughal architecture.

Who was the Taj Mahal built for?
• The Taj Mahal was built as a tomb for Mumtaz Mahal (“Chosen One of the Palace”) by her
husband, the Mughal emperor Shah Jahān
(reigned 1628–58). She died in
childbirth in 1631, after having been
the emperor’s inseparable
companion since their marriage in
1612.

the Capital New Delhi.

Garden Of Taj Mahal
• Garden in the Taj Mahal attracts tourists and it
is the best photo shoot spot for tourists. After
the main entrance garden of Taj will entertain
you. The garden consist 16 flower beds and they
are separated by water lines. The flower beds
before the Taj Mahal attracts the hearts of
tourists.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Taj from February to April and from
October to December. During these times the weather is
comfortable for tourists to enjoy. The rest of time to weather will
be very hot or cold which may cause uneasy to tourists.
• The best time to visit Taj is during sunrise and sunset. At this
times, Taj Mahal glows in a different way which attracts
tourists.
