Useful vocabulary.
■ Brand: a type of product manufactured by a particular company under a particular name. Ex: I don
´t like Samsung.

■ Wide: including a great variety of people or things.

■ Affordable: inexpensive; reasonably priced. Ex. Xiaomi phones are affordable.

■ Purpose: the reason for which something is done or created. Ex: The purpose of cellphones is
allowing communication through long distances with others without a wire.

■ Profitable: beneficial; useful, providing financial gain. Ex. Onlyfans is a very profitable business
nowadays.

Infinitive Clauses
■ To attract talented professionals, a company should offer competitive salaries.
■ To run a popular internet café, it´s a good idea to have plenty of computers.
Infinitive + complement + main clause
(Infinitive clause) (In the main clause you give a suggestion)

This is the simplest type of infinitive clause.

You can also add “In order” before the infinitive clause.
In order to finance a new business, it´s a good idea to get a bank loan.
(In order) + infinitive + comp. + main clause
Add to or/and in order to complete the sentences.
1. In order _________ establish a trendy restaurant, it´s important to have good music.
2. __________ attract customers, you need to promote your business in social networks.
3. ___________ to operate a successful movie theater, you need to make sure it shows the
latest movies.
4. ___________ run a successful gym, the machines can´t be rusty.
Infinitive clauses with for
■ For a concert hall to be successful, it should have excellent acoustics.
■ For an app to succeed, it has to be easy to use.
(For + noun + infinitive) + main clause
Infinitive clause

In this case, we have a noun between for and the infinitive. In the other type of infinitive
clauses we don´t include a noun before the infinitive.

You can also add “In order” before the infinitive clause.
In order for a language school to succeed, it has to have a convenient location.
(In order) + for + noun + infinitive + main clause
Add for, to or/and in order to complete the sentences.
