Instructions for Pill Box
Jane takes multiple pills a day and wants to
make it easier for her to remember to take
them. She requests a pill box to help her. Help
her fill this pill box so she has enough
medication for one week.
Filling the Pill Box
• Split 1 smarty in half using the pill splitter
– Jane takes ½ smarty every week on Wednesday’s
• Jane takes 1 cinnamon candy every morning
• Jane takes 1 watermelon candy every morning
• Jane takes 1 mini chocolate chip on Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday mornings
Prescription Fill Activity
Jane received a new prescription called in to her
local pharmacy for pickup. You are the
pharmacist preparing her medication for her to
pickup. Pay close attention to the amount the
doctor wants her to take.
Filling Instructions
• Each brown bag contains a prescription vial
and a small amount of skittles
• Jane’s doctor wants her to take 1 skittle every
day at night for 30 days.
• Count out 30 skittles and place them in the
vial for her to come pickup.
