Truly, the glory of that morality is manifested by cleansing the soul from the
lowly despicable qualities and decorating it with commendable qualities. One of
the knots of glory is: you continue to connect with people who broke with you,
give goodness to people who do not want to do good to you, and forgive the
mistakes of others who wrong you.
Noble character has various virtues. It is a form of carrying out the commands of
Allah and His Messenger sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. With noble character too,
one will be free from the negative influence of the ugly actions of others. With
the glory of morals also a person will obtain a height of degrees.
The input is Tawhid, the output is Noble Morals
Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam bersabda,

‫اسنَ ُك ْم َأ ْخاَل قًا‬

ِ ‫ي َوَأ ْق َربِ ُك ْم ِمنِّي َمجْ لِسًا يَ ْو َم القِيَا َم ِة َأ َح‬
َّ َ‫ِإ َّن ِم ْن َأ َحبِّ ُك ْم ِإل‬
“ Indeed, the one I love the most between you and the closest seat to me on
the Day of Judgment are those who are the best in character among you.”
“Sesungguhnya yang paling aku cintai di antara kalian dan paling dekat
tempat duduknya denganku pada hari kiamat adalah mereka yang paling
bagus akhlaknya di antara kalian.”

Jaami’ no. 2201.)
