CRAMER'S RULE

CRAMERS RULE:-

 Cramer's Rule is an explicit formula for the

solution of a system of linear equations with as
many equations as unknowns, i.e. a square
matrix, valid whenever the system has a unique
solution.

APPLICATION OF CRAMER'S RULE:-

 Cramer's rule applies to the case where the coefficient determinant is

nonzero.

 In the 2×2 case, if the coefficient determinant is zero, then the system is
incompatible if the numerator determinants are nonzero, or indeterminate if
the numerator determinants are zero.
ADVANTAGE OF USING CRAMER'S RULE:-

 One of the biggest advantage that Cramer's rule offers is that we can
easily find the unknown variables without the need to know about
the other variables. Another fact is that, if either of x,y, or z is in the
fraction form, then there is no need of a fraction to get hold of the
other values.
HOW DO WE USE CRAMER'S RULE:-

 Using Cramer's Rule to Solve a System of Two

Equations in Two Variables
 We eliminate one variable using row operations and
solve for the other. ...
 Now, solve for x.
 Similarly, to solve for y,we will eliminate x.
 Solving for y gives.
 Notice that the denominator for both x and y is the
determinant of the coefficient matrix.
